About Cherry

Cherry was introduced to yoga and mindfulness at an early age/ meditating from age 6 with her mother who was a member of an ashram in Western Australia. Her early years living on her Father’s yacht cemented her love for the the bohemian life and the ocean, and she has been seeking waves ever since. She has found that yoga strengthens her surfing and vice versa, and the two go hand in hand. Cherry attained her 200hr YTT from Amanda Fuzes at Dharma Shala, continuing her 350hr YTT at Body Mind Life, learning from teachers Simon Park, Kat Clayton, Sarah Owen, and Noelle Connolly.

Yoga

Cherry loves to create engaging, thoughtful classes and also teaches one on one sessions dedicated to the individual needs of the student. She acknowledges that each person is different and therefore structures her classes in a way where everyone can benefit, from beginner to experienced.Β Cherry regularly teaches Vinyasa, Yin, and Hatha, specialising in inversions and strength building in Vinyasa (expect a challenge!) and mindfulness in her Yin classes, as well as working with surfers to develop their strength and balance through yoga. Catch her on the mat or on the waves in North Bondi.
